God
There is one true living God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Scriptures
The Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for what we believe and how we are to live.
Humanity
Humankind was created in the image of God as male and female, designed to be in relationship with God. Man sinned and fell away from God through disobedience, bringing sin, death, and the curse into the world. The entire human race shares in a lost condition and corrupt nature and is in need of salvation.
The Person and Work of Jesus
Jesus Christ came to the earth, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily gave Himself on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of humankind. After His physical death, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will return to earth in power and glory.
Salvation
Salvation is by God’s grace through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. A person is restored to fellowship with God through repenting of sin, believing in Christ, and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. True salvation is accompanied by the fruit of a transformed life and good works in the believer’s life.
Holiness
Through the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of believers, Christians are enabled to live a godly life. All believers are called to live a life of holiness and to continue to grow in being conformed into the image of Christ.
Deliverance and Healing
The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the devil and his kingdom, including deliverance from demonic influence and freedom from every curse. Healing and deliverance are a vital part of the church’s ministry today as initiated by Jesus and now continuing through His body, the church.
The Baptism and Gifts of the Spirit
All believers are indwelt with the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation but should also seek to continue to be filled with and empowered by the Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise for all believers, and all of the gifts of the Spirit seen in Scripture are still active today.
Final Judgment
Heaven and hell are real, literal places. There will be a resurrection and final judgment of both the saved and the lost—the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting damnation.
