Last Fall, I announced the release of a twelve-month Kids Ministry curriculum called Kids Empowered. We are using this curriculum at Threshold Church and it is awesome to see how the Lord is moving in our children. Some other churches are starting to use the Kids Empowered curriculum as well, and we are thrilled to see this resource spread.
I am excited to announce the launch of a brand new Kids Empowered website! The mission of this website is to equip churches and parents to value their children and train them up in the Lord. Kids are vital members of the kingdom of God, and the time to begin training and empowering them is now!
About Kids Empowered
The Kids Empowered website is home to our Kids Ministry curriculum. It is also a resource for equipping parents and churches on their journey of raising up their children. Regular articles will be written by me, my wife Anna, and Nikki Patterson (co-author of the Kids Empowered curriculum). We will soon be adding a resources section for churches and for parents, with tools and resources to help in leading kids in the church and in the home.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14). We hope that the Kids Empowered website will help in fulfilling the desire of Jesus to let the children come to Him!
