One Thing is Needed–Prioritizing the Secret Place (Sermon)

When Jesus visited the house of Martha in Luke 10:38-42, Martha was busy serving while Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus listening to His word. When Martha asked Jesus to correct Mary, He instead commended her for choosing the ‘one thing’ that is needed. In this message, I preach through this passage and expound on the importance of our personal devotion to God in the secret place.

All fruitfulness in the Christian life comes from our connection to Jesus. Like Mary, we must make focused time with the Lord our highest priority and fight for our time in the secret place. Check out the sermon below!
