This past Sunday on October 31st, I preached a message on deliverance from the occult. Before my message we had a powerful testimony of a man who had previously been deeply involved in witchcraft until God supernaturally intervened, saved, and set him free.
In the message, I preached about the “supernatural showdown” between Simon the sorcerer and Philip the evangelist in Acts 8. The whole city of Samaria was under the spiritual control of Simon as he practiced magic arts and sorcery. But when Philip came, he both preached Christ and demonstrated the power of the gospel by casting out demons and healing the sick. The city turned to Jesus.
Later in the message, I gave some teaching on what the occult is and what are some of its many branches. There was a corporate ministry time for deliverance at the end, which is included in the recording. I encourage you to listen and pray along!
